Στην πρώτη της δήλωση μετά την ανακοίνωση του κλεισίματος του Χίθροου, η εταιρεία British Airways, που έχει ως κύρια βάση της το συγκεκριμένο αεροδρόμιο, προειδοποιεί ότι οι τελευταίες εξελίξεις θα έχουν «σημαντικό αντίκτυπο» στη λειτουργία της και στους πελάτες της.
